Very rare movie camera "NEREIDA" (Super-8 format).
There are were made about 10 pieces only. The camera was exposed at exhibition in Italy in the past.
This is first Soviet camera that is able to run under water and in complex environmental conditions without any extra accessories. The camera have a zoom lens and wide-angle attachment (special design to compensate underwater distortion).
Construction of the camera provides great quality of the exposed film and high reliability during operation at high humidity, dusty places, and under water down to 50m. It has TTL viewfinder and automatic exposure.
This is first camera in the world that has optical viewfinder that allows a diver in mask to use this viewfinder. The zoom lens "Agat-14" supplied with special wide-angle attachment shortening the focal length down to 4.2mm (air) or 5.6mm (underwater).
